PAC (APAX-5000 Series)

Advantech’s APAX-5000 series, an open develop architecture with embedded KW Multiprog Softlogic software and optional HMI/SCADA, integrates control, information processing, and networking in a single control system. APAX-5000 series have dual dedicated controllers for different tasks superior to other PAC products in the market.

Advantech APAX-5000 digital input/output modules are equipped with high density 24 channels, isolation, shirt circuit protection , failure protection functions and hot swap functionality to increase the utilization rate of the module and provide a reliable system.

Backplane

Advantech APAX-5000 backplane modules are designed to connect APAX modules in a flexible and convenient way. The APAX backplane modules, APAX-5001 and APAX-5002, are in accordance with 1-slot and 2-slot backplanes for different connecting requirements. Furthermore, APAX-5002 is equipped with an RJ-45 port which can support flexible remote control architectures.
